This forested hump did not get its name after the well-known Slovenian writer France Bevk, as many might mistakenly think. It acquired it after the surname of the owners of this forested area. The top itself does not offer much to the eye, but if we walk to a nearby chapel in the middle of the pastures, a completely new world opens up towards the northern part of the Slovenian Littoral Region.
