Harvest Festival
The Harvest Festival is a traditional cultural and ethnographic event, organized by the Žirovski vrh Tourist Association on the last weekend in July.
Would you like to go back in time for a day or two, to a time when there was no technology, no rush and when people still knew how to make time for each other? Žirovski Vrh is one of the few villages that still know such a pulse of life. Various evening gatherings, old dances, stories and old farm chores are still alive in the village.

The biggest event they prepare is the Harvest Festival, which takes place for several days.
Its common thread is harvesting, threshing, grain cleaning, and other chores that were part of the lives of our ancestors in the past, but we know very little about them today.
In addition to the ethnological part, the event is always accompanied by a rich cultural and entertainment program, stands, creative workshops, tours of the place and its sights, various hikes take place and cuisine is also an important part. In the evening program, a comically coloured local peasant game takes you back to the time a hundred years ago. A variety of events, intended for different structures of visitors, from year to year attracts lovers of tradition, beautiful views and quality program.
