Sometimes it is wise to turn from well-marked mountain trails, as more hidden paths can lead to some lesser-known and not so crowded gem of nature. We are talking about the Malenski vrh Hill. Although it lies on the sunny side of the Blegoš, Koprivnik and Stari vrh Hills, it is mostly in their shade due to its lower “growth”. But no less worth a visit! 

The great baroque Church of the Assumption of Mary used to attract hundreds of pilgrims. 

Nowadays, however, a large number of people gather here only a few times a year on special occasions, such as, for instance, traditional pilgrimages of individual parishes.
