Mladi vrh

Point Description

The Mladi vrh Hill is the taller and lesser known “brother” of the Stari vrh Hill, which is most famous for its ski resort. The young man’ (“Mladi vrh” literally means “Young Peak”) is 1,374 m high, but due to the overgrowth of beech forest, it unfortunately offers only a limited view of the Selca Valley.

At the top, there is a bench where you can rest after the undergone effort. This Škofja Loka peak has another characteristic – if you are quiet enough on the way up and observe the surroundings well, you may encounter chamois.
