Koča na Mrzlem vrhu

Planinsko društvo Žiri je na Mrzlem vrhu, ki med drugim leži ob Slovenski planinski poti, postavilo novo planinsko kočo. Zgradili so jo na ruševinah stare karavle oziroma vojaške zgradbe, ki jih je bilo na tem območju precej. 987 metrov visoki Mrzli vrh, ki ga imenujejo tudi Loncmanova Sivka, namreč leži ob nekdanji rapalski meji, zato bo nova koča še dodatno turistično zanimiva.
Koča je okolju prijazna, saj so ob njej uredili tudi rastlinsko čistilno napravo, ki bo na naraven način čistila odpadne vode iz koče.
