The starting point of the trail is in the Grebljica parking lot on Stari vrh. From here follows a slight descent towards Četena Ravan, where you turn right above St. Bricius’ Church towards the village of Podvrh. Soon, beautiful panoramic views of the Poljane Valley open up, as well as the views towards the Inner Carniola (Notranjska) and the Slovenian Littoral (Primorska). In the village of Podvrh, follow the signs and turn right onto a field path past a shrine. You will arrive in the forest and climb evenly along the trail all the way to the first crossroads, where you can opt for a shorter or longer route. The shorter route leads over Mladi vrh and onwards across Stari vrh to the finish. On the longer route, you continue towards Koprivnik to the military road, which you cross and arrive at the intersection between Blegoš and Koprivnik. Here, you can go to Blegoš, otherwise turn right at the crossroads onto a mountain path and head back across Koprivnik (1,393 m), Mladi vrh (1,374 m) and Stari vrh (1,217 m). At the vantage point at the top of Stari vrh, you will enjoy beautiful views all the way to Ljubljana, Snežnik, Nanos and the Slovenian Littoral (Primorska). At the top of Stari vrh you can take a break for refreshments at Logar's Hut (Logarjeva koča). What follows is the descent along the mountain path past the Stari vrh Restaurant and Guest House (Gostišče Stari vrh) to Grebljica.
