Meteorite Trail
Route description
The students of the Javorje Primary School have designed a trail that leads to a very interesting find in our area – a meteorite, which was found in November 2009 near Javorje. They added a pinch of their own ideas and created a tourist product – the learning trail “Searching for a Lost Piece of Space”, which is attractive and interesting for children mainly because of exploring a piece of space, and for older visitors due to nature itself, views, unusual and important find.
As the final touch, they also added entertainment activities that children will perform at stations along the way and at the same time learn some interesting facts about meteorites.
