Step back in time to the golden age of tennis, when the sport was a symbol of elegance and leisure for the upper classes. In 1897, Dr. Ivan Tavčar built Slovenia’s first grass tennis court at Visoko Manor, reflecting his passion for the sport and the trends of his time.

Participants will play in traditional white attire and with wooden rackets, recreating the charm of classical tennis. Playing on natural grass is a rare experience in Slovenia, as Visoko Manor is home to one of only two grass courts in the country.

The tournament will be held in a doubles format, open to adult non-registered players, and a limited number of wooden rackets will be available on-site. After the matches, a hot meal is included with your entry fee of €35 per person.

The event will be officially opened by a special animated character representing Dr. Ivan Tavčar, making this more than a tournament—it’s a full experience of sport, history, elegance, and socializing.

In case of bad weather, the event will be postponed to Saturday, June 13, 2026.
